The facts are clear – most companies today need to do a better job selecting talent. Recent survey data collected by the Corporate Executive Board indicates that nearly a quarter of all new hires leave their companies within a year, and that hiring managers wish that they never extended an offer to one of every five members of their team. And a recent Gallup survey this past June found that 52% of American workers were “not engaged” with their work and another 18% were “actively disengaged.”
